“Like apples of gold in settings of silver is a word spoken at the right time.” Proverbs 25:11

Have you ever said, “I sure did need to hear that! Those words came at just the right time.” Words spoken at the right moment can be life changing and bring much hope and encouragement. They can also be words of wisdom that can give us the right direction to go. Whatever the on time word is, it is priceless.

I have had so many on-time words in my different seasons of life. Sometimes the words come through a sermon or a song. Sometimes it would come in a card through the mail. One of the most memorable times was when someone walked up behind me, tapped me on the shoulder and said “God sees you”. This person had no idea that I had just left out of a meeting broken hearted because I was not given a role for an upcoming event. I went to my car and wept and then decided to go to a small weekly prayer meeting. No one knew what I had just experienced, but God saw me, and He was letting me know that was what really mattered. It was such an on-time and encouraging word!

Maybe you are the one that God used to send a card, make a phone call, or just walk up to someone and share an encouraging word. You made someone’s day.
